Ascension Church Centre, 1903-7 by J.E.K. and J.E Cutts, replacing the original mission church and hall established here by Felsted School. Spruced up in 1995-6 when adapted as a church centre by Richard & Associates, and now a prominent sight from the DLR.

Church. 1980-1 replacing a war-damaged church. The archway remains from the original church of 1898-9.

Sally Sherman Nursing Home (former Albert Dock Hospital). The earliest buildings of 1887-90 stood nearer the dock. They were superseded by a pavilion hospital in 1937. Only the main block survives as the nursing home.

Elizabeth Fry School was Regent School
Royal Docks Community School by Property and Design Consultants of the Borough of Newham. The most significant recent secondary school in the borough. Designed for shared community use and an exemplar of accessibility and inclusiveness, in particular the rotunda which has a spiral ramp to first floor for disabled students.
