Brimstone Close

Laid out on the land of Brimstone Farm in 1961 by Homesteads Ltd. As an extension of the Chelsfield Park Estate.

Set up in 1993 and bought by American Golf (UK) in 2001.

Church Road

Five Bells– the church actually has the unusual number of five bells. Traditional weatherboarded Kentish pub. a traditional unspoilt village public bar with bare floorboards and gloss-painted walls.

Court Lodge.This has stood near the church since 18th.  Manor houses often called ‘court’ because courts were held there. For a while it was the home of Brass Crosby who acquitted someone who published parliamentary debates in 1771 and was sent to the Tower.  In 1857 barns and so on burnt down in an arson attack.  A new manor was built by William Waring, then Lord of the Manor, and rented the old one out to City businessmen . Now effectively on the by pass.
