Epping
A country lane, now essentially a suburban back road in Epping, from the village of Ivy Chimneys to the High Road (the old A12)
It is said that this is the site of a gate into the Forest where, during the great plaque of 1666, supplies for Epping were left.
Forest Gate Pub, Bell Common. 17th-century, genuine country free house, owned and run by the same family many years.
