St. John’s Hill Road

St. John’s Church.1842 G.G.Scott. Early church built as a chapel of ease.Gave its name to the new community growing up around it and became a parish church in 1883.
Jackman Nurseries.Late 18th and early 19th.Developed a specialist clematis. Jackman died in1893 and the land was sold for building.
